【Product Overview】
This is a large, Showa-era retro Hama Yumi (demon-quelling bow), approximately 50 years old, purchased between 1977 and 1983 (Size 23).
With an imposing height of approximately 82cm, it boasts a luxurious design featuring a silver mallet and 寿 (kotobuki - longevity/celebration) embellishments.

Traditionally used to ward off evil spirits, Hama Yumi are displayed not only during New Year's but also alongside Gogatsu Ningyo (May dolls) for Tango no Sekku (Children's Day).
This grand piece is perfect for wishing a boy healthy growth.

【Condition】
The entire item, including the interior, has been cleaned.

The colors and paint are largely intact, except for some areas, and it is in relatively good condition for a Showa-era retro item from about 50 years ago.

Additionally, the joint where the Hama Yumi connects to the base is structurally prone to breaking, so it has been modified to be detachable.

【Recommended For You!】

- Those who want to celebrate more lavishly by displaying it alongside Gogatsu Ningyo.
- Those seeking traditional Japanese vintage items.
- Those who want to immerse themselves in nostalgia with that familiar melody.
(Please teach your children the lyrics.)

【Important Notes for Handling the Glass Case】
- When moving the case, lift it by the base.
- To remove the case, hold the front left and back right frames and lift slowly.
