Description
Koinobori (Carp Streamer) for Tango no Sekku (Children's Day)
Length: Total length 290 cm
Width: 56 cm
Family crests are on two locations.
One samurai is on a horse.
The other is a full body depiction, including their feet.
The upper part with the crests is 265 cm.
The lower part with the warriors is 225 cm.
It was too long to photograph in one piece. It is believed to be quite old.
I bought it intending to dye it with persimmon tannin, but I couldn't get around to it. The measurements are approximate as they were taken by an amateur, so there may be some error. Thank you for looking.
