Description

This is a wooden paper napkin holder from Aarikka, a Finnish brand.

I visited Finland in the late 1980s and purchased this at a department store in Helsinki. After returning to Japan, I used it a few times with napkins, but then it was displayed on a shelf. As you can see in the photos, there are no noticeable scratches or stains. The wood grain is beautiful, and the gentle, aged color of the wood adds a deep charm (please see photos), creating a Nordic vintage ambiance on your table. It can be used not only as a paper napkin holder but also as a holder for coffee filters, memo pads, and more. It would also be wonderful as a decorative interior piece to simply admire.

I checked Aarikka's website and several auction sites, and I believe this design of wooden paper napkin holder is no longer sold.
