If purchased within the listing period, it will be shipped on the afternoon of the 30th. Please consider it.

Note: The lacquered tray and the chirimen (crepe fabric) shrimp are not included in the listing. They are shown as examples for decoration.

This is a ceramic kagami mochi (traditional New Year's rice cake decoration) in the size of an issun mochi (a mochi weighing approximately 1.8 kg), which looks so realistic you'd mistake it for actual mochi with its matte texture.
Since it's unglazed, it doesn't have a shiny finish and has a moist appearance.
I've displayed it every year since purchasing it, but my lifestyle has changed, and I'm gradually decluttering.
I would be happy if someone could use it.

Ceramic: Upper and lower tiers.
Size: Lower tier diameter approx. 16.8 cm.
Includes: Original box (shows signs of age and damage), artificial fern, tangerine-colored mizuhiki cord, and a paper placemat.

The leaves and tangerine were not originally included. If you place a small real tangerine on top and decorate it on your own lacquered tray or sanbo (a ceremonial stand), it will look very impressive.
Furthermore, as shown in image 4, adding a shrimp decoration (or mizuhiki crafts) will make it even more luxurious.

It is economical as it can be used every year.
It is large and makes a grand display.
Perfect for New Year's Day at the entrance, living room, or for store displays.

Minor dirt can be removed by gently rubbing with an eraser or fine-grit sandpaper.
(Personally, I don't find the dirt noticeable, so I will send it as is.)
The inside is hollow, so you can store cut mochi.

Even items that appear clean may have minor scratches or dirt due to age. Please refrain from purchasing if you are not accustomed to used items or are concerned about minor details.
For those who do not mind the damage and minor dirt on the outer box.

Currently selling on Amazon for around ￥4,600 including shipping.
I am not considering significant price reductions, so please consider the listed price.
