Kallous NC-R is a soil conditioner that can be made by mixing immature organic matter (residue, fallen leaves, pruned branches) with rice bran (a nutrient source for compost), incorporating it into the soil, watering thoroughly, and leaving it for 1 to 3 weeks. Microorganisms will decompose the organic matter and improve the soil. Its greatest feature is that decomposition and planting can be done simultaneously, with little concern for gas damage.
