A Japanese-Western fusion,
This is an original New Year's decoration.
All are fresh flowers.

[Materials]
● Nandina berries and leaves, which ward off misfortune.
● Delicious to eat, locally grown kumquats from Kanagawa Prefecture.
● Myrtle, which appears in Greek mythology and is used as a bouquet material for weddings, symbolizing celebration.

The round mizuhiki (water string) decorations represent harmony and fulfillment.
The golden kumquats symbolize a bountiful harvest.
The nandina berries and leaves represent the wish to ward off misfortune.
The myrtle symbolizes guidance towards happiness, as it is a celebratory tree often used in wedding bouquets.

Generous amount of kumquats.
After the New Year, perhaps during Kagami Biraki (mirror opening ceremony), you could remove the kumquats from this wreath, wash them, and eat them.
We also recommend simmering them in sugar.
It would be a waste to throw them away!

Enjoy kumquats that are both delightful to see and delicious to eat on your dining table.

Each item is made with care. As this is a handmade item made from natural materials, each piece is unique.

We recommend this for those who understand handmade items, for your entrance or gate.

The size just barely fits into a compact delivery box.

Please note:
As these are fresh flowers, some berries or fruits may fall off during shipping. We do not expect all of them to fall off. Thank you for your understanding.
