Appears to be genuine gold leaf, approx. 12cm square (details unknown, reason for discount)

This item was passed down to me over 50 years ago by a friend who was involved in crafts (they are now famous in the dyeing field).
It is old gold leaf (or what appears to be). It is interleaved one by one on traditional Japanese paper (hakuaishi) and there are quite a number of sheets.
The size is a large format, approximately 12cm x 12cm.
I have no specialized knowledge and cannot authenticate its genuineness (such as exact purity). Therefore, I am listing it as a product with details unknown and sold as-is at a lower price than the market value.

■ Test Results: To determine if it was imitation brass (洋金箔 - Western gold leaf), I conducted a test by burning one sheet with a lighter. It did not turn completely black like brass; instead, the part that touched the flame turned whitish, a reaction characteristic of genuine gold leaf (gold leaf containing silver). It is likely genuine gold leaf, but I cannot guarantee it 100%.

■ Condition:
This item has been stored at home for over 50 years. As it is an unopened bundle, I have not been able to check the exact number of sheets inside or the condition of minor creases or tears.
The Japanese paper shows signs of age, with light dirt and stains.
