Enmon Byakko Suzaku Nishiki (Circular Pattern White Tiger Vermilion Bird Brocade)
This textile is a modern reproduction of Asuka period brocade passed down at Horyu-ji Temple, featuring intricately woven patterns with the following characteristics:
Sasanian Persian Style Circular Pattern: Based on an oriental design of connected pearls forming circles. Byakko (White Tiger): A white animal placed within the circle, symbolizing the guardian deity of the west.
Suzaku (Vermilion Bird): A red bird also placed within the circle, symbolizing the guardian deity of the south.

There are some wrinkles from storage, but the fringe is not tangled and there are no stains.
