Expert commentary from a stethoscope specialty store:
The Littmann Classic III is the best-selling and most popular model.
This stethoscope is the successor to the former bestseller, the Classic 2se, which has been redesigned.
(The Classic 2se has been discontinued.)
◆Change 1: The diaphragm is now a single molded piece.
Previously, the rim and diaphragm were assembled and attached to the chestpiece. Now, it's a single unit with no seams, which is a major improvement. It's also easier to attach and less likely to come off than before.
◆Change 2: A pediatric diaphragm is attached to the bell side.
The previous model only had an adult diaphragm and bell. The Classic III comes with a pediatric diaphragm, making it suitable for both adults and children. Of course, by replacing the pediatric diaphragm with the included non-chill sleeve, the bell can also function as a bell.
◆Change 3: The binaurals are thicker overall.
The 69cm long tubing, combined with thicker eartubes, has dramatically improved sound quality. It's also about 2cm shorter than the Classic 2se, improving maneuverability. The tubing material has also been improved for durability against oils and alcohol, ensuring long-term use.

Experience the quality of the Classic III, which has evolved further from the Classic 2se.
