Description
Two traditional Nishijin tsudure-ori brocade fukusa (ceremonial cloths)
[Takasago-ya~] Purchased from a kimono shop in Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture, a city known for bridal services.
These are approximately 60 years old, but have been carefully stored in a paulownia wood chest, so they are in excellent condition with no stains, thread deterioration, or unraveling [Images 1-3]. The purchase location of the other one is unknown, but it is also in good condition.
We believe they would be wonderful for celebrations or as decorative items.
Searching online, it seems rare to find items of this age in such good condition.
We would like to pass them on to someone who will cherish them.
Thank you for looking.
