Swallow Nest / Durable Core Nest

I have been involved in the conservation of wild birds in rural areas for many years.
In recent years, swallow populations have been declining due to a decrease in suitable nesting sites. Would you consider installing artificial nests to help protect them?

Swallows nest in the same locations each year. While it's not always the same individuals that return to breed, they determine their territory and nesting sites based on the quality and number of nests from the previous year.

Even if swallows have never nested in a particular spot before, it is possible to attract them by installing artificial nests if there are other nesting sites within a 200-meter radius. (In such cases, we recommend installing two or more nests.)

Artificial nests can also address the problem of nests being destroyed by crows every year.

This is a durable artificial nest made from clay mixed with various types of mud and straw.
No harmful substances to swallows are used.

Furthermore, it has a jute basket core, so as long as it is securely attached, even if a part of it breaks, the entire nest will not collapse and fall.

We have enhanced its durability through pull and drop tests.

The destructive power of a crow's beak is said to be 2.7 kg, capable of lifting 1 kg, and the attacking force of its legs is approximately 5.4 kg.
This artificial nest has cleared a pull test of the mud nest portion, exceeding the maximum measurable value of 50 kg on a household scale.

The size is based on actual swallow nests. The approximate inner dimensions are 11 cm x 8 cm, with a depth of about 5 cm, though there may be individual variations. Please refer to the images.

When installing on a wall, please use the included stainless steel screws (two included) or a strong weather-resistant adhesive (please purchase separately).

Please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection or are concerned about minor details.
