Description
Brass Buddhist Rice Offering Bowl - Height 8.5 cm, Diameter 7 cm, Set of 3 - Possibly nearly 100 years old
This was found while clearing out an old house.
It is much larger than typical ones. Even large modern ones are usually around 6.7 cm in height, so this one is about 8.5 cm tall, making it extra large.
It came in a large, ornate wooden box, but the box was so deteriorated by age that I've decided to sell only the rice offering bowls themselves.
As I was afraid of damaging them, I only washed them with dish soap.
Someone who knows how to care for them might be able to clean them up a bit more.
This is a very old, used item, so there are scratches, discoloration, etc. Please examine the photos carefully before considering.
As it is made of brass, it should still be perfectly usable. Thank you.
