【Buddhist Altar Fittings】 Kugu, Kyoge, Kyoka, Wooden Hexagonal 3.5 inch, with Arabesque Colored Maki-e

Thank you for viewing my listing.
This item is a Buddhist altar fitting, known as Kugu (供具). It also seems to be called Kuge (供笥) or Kuge (供花), among other names.

This is a Buddhist altar fitting used exclusively by the Jodo Shinshu Honganji-ha sect, whose head temple is Nishi Honganji, commonly known as Nishi (the West). It is used to offer Keshoku (お華束), which are rice cakes and sugar mounds.

Material: Wood, pure gold leaf applied, colored maki-e (lacquer decoration)
Dimensions: Width approx. 10.5 cm, Base width approx. 7.3 cm x Height approx. 17.0 cm
This is a superb piece with beautifully vibrant arabesque coloring. When purchased new, it reportedly costs around 40,000 to 50,000 yen, but it is no longer needed as I have downsized my Buddhist altar. I had kept it here hoping to pass it on to someone who needs it.
For reference, my previous Buddhist altar was approximately 100 cm wide and fit within a Buddhist alcove.

I am looking for a buyer who fully understands and accepts that this is a used item, someone as compassionate as Amida Nyorai.

I am listing several items simultaneously. I am also open to discussing combined purchases. Please feel free to contact me with any requests for price reductions or combined purchases.
Thank you for your consideration.
All are welcome, regardless of experience. Gassho. (ー_ー)
