A foldable coat hanger Sciangai designed by Jonathan De Pas, Donato D'Urbino, and Paolo Lomazzi for the Italian brand Zanotta.

Designed in 1973 by Jonathan De Pas, Donato D'Urbino, and Paolo Lomazzi.
It features a beautiful radial form, reminiscent of the movement of pasta being dropped into a pot.
Eight wooden poles are connected at a central joint, allowing it to be folded compactly when not in use.
Its original design and functionality were highly acclaimed, earning it the Compasso d'Oro award, an Italian design prize, in 1979.
It is also part of the permanent collections of institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
When folded, it stores compactly at a diameter of 11cm x length 160cm.
Purchased new around 2000 and stored unopened in a closet.
It has been opened and inspected for this listing.
