This is a ruler for Japanese sewing (wasai).
It displays both kujirashaku (traditional Japanese measuring unit) and centimeters side-by-side, making conversions easy to understand.
The millimeter markings on the centimeter side are displayed in 1mm increments up to 10cm, and in 2mm increments thereafter.
This is a kujirashaku ruler. Please note that its length differs from a kaneshaku (carpenter's square).
