Thank you for looking.
This is a hanging Bon-chochin (Obon lantern).
Gifu chochin were designated as a national traditional craft in 1995 and are highly regarded not only as Obon lighting but also as interior decor.
I have used it with care, but there is a small stain near the bottom center of the surface (please refer to image 6), but I don't think it's noticeable. There are no tears in the lantern.
The transparency of the lantern and the floral pattern are very beautiful, and I believe you will feel the quality of Gifu chochin.
It will be sent in a dedicated box for Gifu chochin with waterproofing.
There are no smokers or pets in my household.
Immediate purchase is welcome!
I strive for honest transactions.
As I am new to Mercari, it may take some time to ship. I will do my best to ship within 6 days at the latest.
If you wish for faster shipping, please let me know. I will do my best to accommodate your request, so thank you for your understanding.
