Product Description

Okinawa Shisa Ceramic Incense Holder (Koro), Set of 2

This is a set of two ceramic incense holders (koro) inspired by Shisa, the guardian lions beloved in Okinawa.
The set includes a male with an open mouth and a female with a closed mouth, making them a perfect pair for interior decoration at your entrance or indoors, or even for use at a Buddhist altar.

Incense is placed on the back of the figures, and when lit, smoke rises from the holes in their mouths and faces.
A white cap is included, which can be used as a lid when not in use or as an ash catcher.

With a rustic, red-earth-like texture characteristic of Okinawa, these pieces have a charming atmosphere as folk crafts and lucky charms.
