■ Gilt Bronze Maitreya Bodhisattva in Meditation Pose
18th Century, Joseon Dynasty (Three Kingdoms Period)
Gilt Bronze
? 176,000 → 162,000 JPY
This is a gilt bronze Maitreya Bodhisattva in meditation pose, identical to one currently being sold for 200,000 JPY at a very famous antique shop in Japan.
This item is from the 1800s and has a substantial weight to it.
Height: Approximately 24 cm
This is a convenient size for display.
The condition of the gilt bronze is truly magnificent, and it is rarely found. I would like to pass it on to someone who is looking for such a piece, but I am also considering withdrawing this item from sale.
Please understand if it is removed.
