Bhaisajyaguru (Medicine Buddha) Statue

I consulted a Buddhist sculptor from northern Kyoto about this statue.

The statue you presented is a Yakushi Nyorai (Medicine Buddha) statue.
Reasoning based on characteristics:
Holding a medicine pot (yakko: a pot containing medicine) in the left hand
→ This is a representative attribute of Yakushi Nyorai.
The mudra (hand gesture) in the right hand is close to Semui-in (Abhaya Mudra)
→ This symbolizes the removal of people's illnesses and anxieties, and is a common hand gesture for Yakushi Nyorai.
Flame halo (kaen-kohai)
→ There is a decoration behind the Buddha statue resembling a blazing flame. This particularly emphasizes the power of protection and is often seen with Yakushi Nyorai and Fudo Myoo.

Hairstyle, accessories, and crown on the head
→ Yakushi Nyorai is sometimes depicted with decorations (such as a crown) closer to a Bodhisattva than a Nyorai (especially in sculptures influenced by Esoteric Buddhism).

About Yakushi Nyorai:
Formal name: Yakushi Ruri Kō Nyorai (Medicine Lapis Lazuli Light Tathagata)
He is the lord of the Pure Land of Lapis Lazuli in the East and is believed to be a Buddha who heals illnesses and grants longevity.
He is worshipped as a Buddha of present-world benefits.
Bronze, height 8 cm, width 4.5 cm

The mantra of Yakushi Nyorai is ON KORO KORO SENDARI MATOGI SOWAKA. This mantra is chanted to heal illnesses and pray for physical and mental well-being.
Chanting the mantra of Yakushi Nyorai is considered an act in Buddhism to pray for liberation from illness and suffering, for health, and for happiness. Mantras are believed to invoke the protection of the Buddha through the power of sound and vibration, transcending the literal meaning of the words.

Please use this for a gift to someone currently battling illness, or for chanting the mantra.
