Description
Standing Jizo Bodhisattva Statue, Wooden
This is a carefully wood-carved statue with lacquer applied and then gold leaf applied over it. I believe it is a fine item as a pocket-sized Buddhist statue!
Due to age-related deterioration, the undercoat of the lacquer is visible and only some of the gold leaf remains, but I feel the statue has a considerable depth and dignity as a Buddhist image!
Thank you!
