[For Reference - Frequently Asked Questions]
Do I need special ash for Monko?
? Apple's Answer
You need special Monko Incense Burner Ash.
The reason is the difference in ash. Miyako Ash will burn out the charcoal, but Monko Incense Burner Ash maintains its solid form after the charcoal has burned, allowing it to be used as a heat source (^-^).

※ Monko Incense Burner Ash (Reference Price: ￥4,950 for 90g) is listed separately.
