Kyo-tsukue (Buddhist altar table)
[Size]
- Width: Approx. 43cm
- Depth: Approx. 25cm
- Height: Approx. 28cm
A mat for the kyo-tsukue is also included, but there is a stain on the back, so please consider it a bonus.
This is a simple black kyo-tsukue to place in front of your Buddhist altar, with a drawer for practicality.
Place flower vases, incense burners, candle holders, incense stick holders, or rin (bell) on it for use.
It is called a kyo-tsukue because it was originally a stand for placing Buddhist scriptures.
Using a kyo-tsukue allows you to pray while seated, and it is convenient and safe to handle incense and candles.
Although it has a simple design with a drawer, it is made of rosewood (shitan) and is very sturdy with a substantial weight.
