This is the Tochin-sai, an electronic range-only cooking pot from Hase-en, a kiln manufacturer of Iga-ware pottery.

Basic Usage
1. Absorb water: Thoroughly soak the pot and lid with water, then wipe off any excess moisture from the surface.

3. Heat in the range: Cover with the lid and heat in the electronic range (500-600W) for a few minutes.
