[Steamer Riser] Used when using bamboo or cedar steamers, it is placed on top of the steamer body (main unit). When the depth of the steamer is insufficient, stacking a Steamer Riser increases the depth, allowing you to steam larger ingredients or tall dishes such as chawanmushi.
[Size] Outer diameter (approx.) 18 cm x Height (approx.) 4 cm ★ Can be used with 18 cm outer diameter steamers. *When stacked on the steamer body, the depth becomes 8 cm.* *When using with steamers from other manufacturers, please check the size and shape.*
[Material and Quality] Hyst's Steamer Riser is made from carefully selected natural Moso Bamboo. Its moderate moisture absorption and thermal conductivity regulate steam and facilitate even heat distribution, resulting in evenly steamed and fluffy ingredients.
[Convenient Usage] If the water in the pot is too close to the bottom of the steamer, place the Riser on the lower tier of the steamer. This creates a gap between the steamer's bamboo mat and the water surface, allowing steam to pass through more easily.
