Background of Release: British luxury brand Dunhill launched this as their first men's fragrance. It was created at the time as a premium line to elevate gentlemen's grooming, and later became a long-selling product loved for many years, with changes to the bottle design.
Fragrance (Note) Composition
It belongs to the traditional Barbershop Fougère (citrus-woody reminiscent of a classic barbershop) family.
Top Notes: Lemon, Clary Sage, Lavender, Geranium
Impression: A refreshing yet calming scent of herbs and citrus.
Middle Notes: Carnation, Iris, Jasmine, Rose
Impression: A subtly floral scent with a hint of sophistication and elegance, possessing a mature depth.
Base Notes: Leather, Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Musk, Cedarwood
Impression: A rich, masculine, and smoky-woody lingering scent, characteristic of Dunhill.
