This is a very old kimono for a young girl from the Taisho period.

Purchased at a specialty antique kimono store. I was told it is a high-quality chirimen with Yuzen dyeing from the Taisho period.

I enjoyed it as interior decor because the lilies, roses, and Japanese flowers in a mix of Japanese and Western styles are cute and characteristic of the Taisho period.

If the dimensions fit and the stains don't bother you, I think it would be cute to wear for everyday use, New Year's, Shichi-Go-San, or Hinamatsuri.

It's likely a size that can be worn by children around 3 years old or younger, possibly with adjustments for height (doage and kataage), but I'm not knowledgeable about children's clothing, so I'm not sure. Please purchase if you can judge the size.

As it is a very old antique item, there may be stains and dullness throughout, in addition to what is shown in the photos, but I feel it is in good condition for a Taisho period kimono.

There don't seem to be any major noticeable stains or damage for an antique. The stains on the sleeves are the most noticeable.

Personally, I feel it is a beautiful antique item, but please purchase if you understand old items and antiques. Perceptions vary from person to person.
