Authentic Moroccan Tagine Pot, Terracotta, Imperfect
Terracotta tagine pot, made in Morocco.
White, black, and green stripes.
The lid has a hole, designed to release steam.
When I used it on my home gas stove,
the plate cracked after the first use.
(I confirmed that steam was escaping from the lid without issue.)
I searched for a compatible plate and
several years ago, I finally found a terracotta plate at the Muji store in Ginza.
However, when I asked the store staff,
they said there was no guarantee it wouldn't crack on a gas stove.
I kept it unused and stored away.
The plate part is not made in Morocco.
This item is for sale to those who understand that there is no guarantee it can be used on direct heat.
Purchased for approximately 19,000 yen at an import store.
Small size, suitable for 1-2 people.
- Shape: Tagine pot
- Color: Green and white stripes
- Material: Ceramic
- Size: Medium
- Features: Hole in the center
Thank you for looking.
