time&style The Bird Lounge Chair

time&style
At the Time & Style Factory, nestled amidst the beautiful forests of Hokkaido, we practice integrated production, from sourcing raw timber to sawing, drying, cutting, processing, and painting. While minimizing machine production, we meticulously craft our products with as much artisanal handwork as possible, without compromise.
Our design concept evolves traditional Japanese techniques for modern living, pursuing craftsmanship that can be used for a long time and cherishes the tactile feel of the materials.

The bird lounge chair
An armchair inspired by the form of a bird spreading its wings to take flight.
The design, pursuing unique aesthetic qualities, brings individuality and presence.
Rather than a single bentwood piece, the backrest and arms are not integrated, allowing for a design that balances overall smoothness with a conscious sense of squareness.
