Traditional Hina Dolls, Ceramic, with Stand and Gold Screen [Kintsugi Repair Marks Present]

Ceramic Hina dolls in a traditional Japanese kimono design, featuring vibrant colors and beautiful decorations. These were previously purchased but canceled due to signs of repair, which is why they are offered at a lower price.

Includes a black display stand and a gold folding screen.

These dolls have been kept in the back of a glass-fronted cabinet. Although old, they are not dirty. The base has scratches, but please consider the base as a bonus. The dolls look better displayed on the base, and the scratches on the base are not noticeable (in my opinion). They originally cost ￥200,000-￥300,000 at the time. My daughters are all married and have moved out, and their children (my grandchildren) are all boys, so I am selling them. I would be grateful if someone would display them.

Signs of repair were found on the neck area of the male doll (O-dairi-sama). I had always thought it was the cord of his crown, but it turned out to be a repair mark. I only noticed it after it was pointed out and I looked closely. Please refer to the last three photos. The very last photo shows the back of the collar (neck area). I never noticed it while they were displayed.

I was captivated by their plump and elegant faces when I purchased them.

The original box has been discarded and is not available. However, they will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a cardboard box to prevent damage. Displaying them inside a cabinet is a good way to save space.

Thank you for looking.
