Difference between single burn and triple burn:
A single burn creates a stylish finish with sharp wood grain and a strong presence. A triple burn chars the entire surface, making the wood grain stand out with a three-dimensional, subdued finish and increased durability.

Product Description:

This is a charred cedar cover for a approximately 85L trough.

Includes an approximately 85L trough with overflow measures already in place.

As we use natural domestic cedar boards, there may be slight warping, cracking, or knots.

Metal brackets are attached to the back to prevent warping, expansion, and deformation.

Cedar is a commonly used lumber. Straight-growing cedar is easy to process into pillars and boards and has been used as building material for houses.
However, cedar's disadvantage is its lower water resistance compared to cypress or pine.
If cedar is used outdoors, it may rot. If dried immediately, it will hardly rot.
When used as house siding, the north-facing shaded areas are prone to rot.
And
Charred cedar is a traditional processing method where the surface of cedar is burned to carbonize it, preventing rot.
The charm of charred cedar is that the wood grain becomes darker and more pronounced, creating a three-dimensional effect.
Recently, there are anti-rot paints, but
even when the painted surface is dry, there are concerns about the paint components dissolving and washing away with rain when used outdoors. Therefore, we recommend charred cedar.
Since it is charred cedar, it can be used outdoors or indoors from the day you receive it.

The overflow is an elbow type as shown in the image, designed to allow for water level angle adjustment.
