Description
This was custom-made from a single slab of wood 20 years ago.
About 5 years ago, it started to warp, so I had it professionally refurbished by a local custom furniture maker for ￥50,000. The surface was sanded, and the corners were rounded. It was beautifully finished, and the thickness is now approximately 4 cm.

The surface was also naturally maintained with a clear coat.
The table legs were acquired from a Showa-era retro cafe. They were replaced with very sturdy ones. It can be dragged by one person. It is stable with no wobbling.
Beautiful zelkova wood grain.
One of the reasons for zelkova's popularity is its beautiful appearance. It has a good look with its color, luster, and grain, and the colors vary greatly from tree to tree. Therefore, the price can vary significantly depending on the wood even when used as zelkova lumber.
If purchased as a single slab, it would cost hundreds of thousands of yen. Considering the custom-making cost, I believe this is a reasonable price.
