This is an original Orslow M-1943 field jacket, created by recreating the fabric and adjusting the silhouette and sizing for modern wear, based on a vintage US military M-1943 owned by Orslow designer Nakatsu.

Unlike the M-65 type, this M-1943 type is characterized by its collared design. The collar stands up, creating a conservative style that pairs well with jacket styles. The houndstooth lining adds a classical impression.

The tightly woven cotton back satin fabric will age beautifully with wear. The sizing has a moderate amount of room, allowing it to be worn over other jackets, making it perfect for dressing down formal outfits.

The production is meticulously MADE IN JAPAN, with all planning, pattern making, and sample sewing done in their own atelier. The vintage feel is preserved while being modified for modern fashion.
