Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, where casting originated 400 years ago, has a long history of producing various daily necessities such as pots and kettles, as well as farming tools like sickles and hoes, from cast iron. Oda Kodo-ki's products are made with the vision of re-examining the origins of Takaoka craftsmanship, recreating essential household goods for modern living, and passing on the culture.
