Dahl Jensen "Woodpecker Ceramic Figurine" (Made in Denmark)
79.20 $
Description
Due to my advanced age, I am decluttering and offering a ceramic figurine of a great spotted woodpecker made by Dahl-Jensen of Denmark.
About 40 years ago, I received this as a reward from my company's president and have kept it on my sideboard at home for many years.
I was told by the president that it was a gift from the president of a Danish food company with whom they did business, so I believed it to be valuable.
Recently, I searched on Google and found that it is a Dahl-Jensen figurine that is no longer in production and is popular among collectors, with its value recognized in the art market.
This piece is model number 1343 and depicts a great spotted woodpecker perched on a tree.
It is approximately 15 cm tall. Only the item shown in the image is included; there is no original box or other packaging.
There are no damages or stains, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor imperfections.
Recommended for collectors.
