Nichiren Shu is a sect founded by Saint Nichiren during the Kamakura period.
It is based on the Lotus Sutra (Myoho Renge Kyo) taught by Shakyamuni Buddha, and Saint Nichiren taught that the merits of the Lotus Sutra are concentrated in the mantra Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.

Daimandara
A principal image used in various Nichiren Shu sects, featuring the names of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, disciples of Buddha, learned monks of the Tendai sect, and Indian, Chinese, and Japanese deities inscribed in Kanji and Sanskrit around the central mantra. Also known as Daimandara Gohonzon. A type of Hokke Mandara that visually represents the world of the Lotus Sutra through diagrams and inscribed names.

Kishimojin
(Translation of Sanskrit Hārītī. Phonetic transliteration: Karitei) A goddess. She had a thousand children but ate the children of others. Buddha hid her most beloved child to enlighten her, after which she converted and became the goddess of childbirth and childcare. She is depicted as a celestial maiden holding a pomegranate and cradling a child.

Daikokuten
A guardian deity of Buddhism. Originally a Hindu deity, considered an emanation of Ishana in Esoteric Buddhism. Sanskrit for Mahakala. In Japanese folk belief, she is merged with Okuninushi-no-Mikoto and is one of the Seven Lucky Gods, depicted wearing a hood, carrying a sack on her back, and holding a lucky mallet.

Size
30-dai (a common size designation for Buddhist scrolls)
25.6 cm x 10.8 cm (top)
12.9 cm (bottom roller)

Stains are present on the back of all three scrolls, including the upper right of the Kishimojin scroll.
