This is a zelkova wood chew toy.
This is a limited repeat customer item for those who have previously purchased a pear and zelkova set and whose beloved dog absolutely loves zelkova wood.

It is different from pear wood in terms of wood chips and other aspects.

Even for cats and extra-small dogs, I carefully select branches with aged growth rings and remove the bark to create these toys.

Since I do not hollow out the wood, scrape off the bark, or shave it, many customers have kindly told me that the hardness and the way dogs bite into it are different from other products!

This is a recommended dog toy for puppies, for dealing with puppy nipping, preventing mischief, chewing on shoes and clothes, and for those worried that their dog might destroy their home.

For puppies in the nipping stage and for Japanese male dogs with strong chewing power, a thickness that they can just barely grip will allow them to enjoy it for a long time.

These zelkova branches are from Niigata Prefecture. The bark is peeled off one by one, and they are dried for over 2 years.
*Measured with a moisture meter, moisture content is approximately 0%.

As these are amateur handmade items, I cut them with a chainsaw and use a belt sander (sandpaper) to smooth the small branches. However, please understand that there may be missed spots, or cracks and splits due to excessive drying.
Since it is made of wood, your dog's teeth will not be damaged, and as long as you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouth. However, please allow your dog to play under your supervision.
Please refrain from purchasing if your dog has fruit allergies.
Please do not use this chew toy for anything other than its intended purpose.
