For puppies in the nipping stage and male Japanese dogs with strong chewing power, a slightly thicker size that they can hold in their mouth will allow them to enjoy it for a long time.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have splinters sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so even if swallowed, they are harmless as they are from fruit trees.

We peel the bark from pear branches grown in Niigata Prefecture one by one and dry them for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branch parts are sanded with a belt sander (file), but please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
Since it is wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and if you choose the size carefully, there is no danger of injuring their mouth, but please let them play within your sight.
