For cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel them to create these toys.

Unlike other products, these are not hollowed out, peeled, or shaved, so we receive many happy comments about their hardness and how much dogs take to them!

Left: Zelkova, approx. 8.5 x 1.6-1.7 cm

Right: Pear, approx. 12.5 x 1.5-1.7 cm

Please understand that these are amateur measurements and may have errors.

Please compare the size to your dog's mouth size and the size of their current stuffed animals or balls.
For dogs in the nipping phase, Japanese dogs, and active breeds, a slightly thicker diameter that they can just barely hold will allow them to enjoy it for longer.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have splinters, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed.
These pear wood branches are peeled one by one and dried for two years in Niigata Prefecture.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (file), but please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As they are made of wood, your dog's teeth will not be damaged, and as long as you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouth. However, please ensure your dog plays under your supervision.
