If the size is right, they can enjoy it for over a month.

Even for cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel them to create these toys.

Since we do not hollow out, peel, or shave the wood, many customers have kindly told us that the hardness and how much dogs take to them are different from other products ?

Recommended for puppies who are in the nipping phase, to prevent mischief, to stop them from chewing on shoes and clothes, and for those worried about their dogs destroying their homes.
Also recommended for those whose belongings are constantly being broken by their dogs.

We've made this a set of two, one pearwood and one zelkova wood, for those who want to try both.

Left: Zelkova, approx. 11.1 x 2.0-2.3 cm

Right: Pear, approx. 16.1 x 2.2-2.6 cm

Please note that these are amateur measurements and may have errors.

Please consider the size based on your dog's mouth size, the size of toys they currently play with (plush toys or balls), and their chewing strength, in consultation with your dog.

For dogs in the nipping phase, male Japanese dogs, and active breeds with strong chewing power, a slightly thicker diameter that they can grip will allow them to enjoy it for longer.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have thorns sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so even if swallowed, they are harmless as it is fruit wood.

We peel the bark from pear branches grown in Niigata Prefecture one by one and dry them for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branch parts are shaved with a belt sander (file), but please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As it is wood, their teeth will not be damaged, and as long as you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouths, but please allow your dog to play within your sight.
Please refrain from use if your dog has fruit allergies.
