Pilgrimage Supplies: Kesamaru (Gold Great Master) - Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage Collar Clip
This is a Wagesa-dome (sash holder) used for pilgrimage, such as the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage.
[Product Features]
The design is a representation of the Shugyo Daishi (Kobo Daishi), a symbol of pilgrimage.
It is a Buddhist accessory, similar to a tie clip, that secures the white robe and the Wagesa (a circular Buddhist stole worn around the neck) at the collar or back to prevent it from shifting or flipping up while walking.
It is in good condition, but as the frequency of use is unknown, it is being sold as a used item.
Please understand that there may be minor scuffs due to home storage.
Thank you for looking.
