Vintage Teak Dining Chair, Denmark, Nordic Furniture, Nordic Vintage, Oil Finish, DENMARK innocence, TEAK WOOD
Chair

This is a listing for 2 out of 4 chairs purchased at an auction about 15 years ago from a shop specializing in vintage Nordic furniture.
(The other 2 chairs and the dining table shown in the last image are also listed separately.)

The material was listed as teak when purchased, but due to aging, it has developed a deep, rich color, with some areas having a dark hue similar to rosewood. We cannot accurately determine the exact wood species, but the seller deals with many vintage Nordic furniture pieces daily, so it is likely correct. Please judge from the images. In any case, it is a good, dense wood.

The seat is a pleasant green, like young olive leaves.

One chair has a slight sinking on the right side of the seat when sat upon. It is highly likely that the board inside is cracked. While it is possible to use it as is, there is a possibility of it breaking if strong force is applied in the future, so it would be safer to replace or reinforce the board. As it is vintage, there is some sign of use and dirt on the main body and seat fabric, but it is in a condition that does not interfere with daily use.

We primarily request pickup.
