For Reference
OLYMPUS CHROME SIX II - Playing with a large aperture medium format lens. ZUIKO 7.5cm f2.8 and the tilt adapter.
Cameras from over 70 years ago had simple structures because mass production of complex machinery was difficult. Simple box cameras, compact folding spring cameras, and twin-lens reflex cameras with an additional lens for the viewfinder.
This time, we will focus on a spring camera. The Olympus Chrome Six II, manufactured in 1948, shortly after the war.
Its main mechanisms are the proud large-aperture ZUIKO 7.5cm f2.8 lens (3 groups, 4 elements, Tessar configuration) and the Copal lens shutter incorporated within it (excerpt from description).
