Rangefinder Camera
With Flash Unit
Includes Camera Cover (torn)
Released in 1972, this compact 35mm full-frame camera gained popularity for its ease of use, featuring a programmed electronic shutter EE and a rangefinder.
Lens: Equipped with an E.ZUIKO 42mm F2.8 lens (4 elements in 3 groups).
Exposure Control: Features a fully automatic program exposure system with shutter speeds ranging from 4 seconds to 1/800 second.
Focusing: Accurate focusing is possible with a superimposed image type coupled rangefinder.
Power Source: Originally used two HM-N type mercury batteries (1.4V), but can be substituted with LR44 alkaline batteries or similar.
Size: Despite its compact size, it has a solid metal construction and weighs approximately 415g.
A key difference from the mechanically shuttered Olympus Trip 35 is that this camera is fully electronically controlled, meaning the shutter cannot be fired without batteries.
