Description
Yashica Electro 35 GSN
(Released in 1973) is the final evolution model of the Electro 35 series, equipped with a large-aperture Color-Yashinon DX 45mm F1.7 lens, and was advertised as being capable of shooting even in the light of a single candle.
The shutter works.
The film winding mechanism is fine.
The lens and viewfinder appear clean to the untrained eye.
There are likely minor scratches and some fungus.
Tested with batteries inserted. The battery checker responded well. In the viewfinder, when the shutter button was half-pressed, an arrow pointing left (←) illuminated (this appears when the exposure is too bright or too dark).
The last photo of the viewfinder did not turn out well, but it shows where the ← illumination appeared.
The camera has not been tested with film inserted.
Thank you for looking!
