The Nikomat EL, released in 1972, is a historic electronically controlled shutter SLR camera from Nikon, featuring the first aperture-priority auto (AE) system.

Tested with batteries: The shutter operates correctly from 4 seconds to 1/1000 second without issues.
The internal light meter is functioning properly, and the AUTO mode is also working.
Winding is smooth.
The self-timer operates, but is slow.
