Description
A Masterpiece from Olympus: The OLYMPUS OM-2
This camera was created by the legendary camera designer, Yoshihisa Maitani.
Key Features and Appeal:
World's First TTL Direct Metering: It was the first camera in the world to adopt TTL direct metering, which directly measures the light reflected off the film surface. This allows for real-time adjustments to exposure changes during shooting.
Equipped with Aperture-Priority AE: Featuring aperture-priority AE, where the camera automatically sets the shutter speed based on the aperture you choose, it is widely favored by both beginners and advanced photographers.
Compact and Lightweight Design: Its remarkably compact and sophisticated design defied the common notion at the time that SLRs are heavy and large.
Lens: The attached lens appears to be a standard lens such as the ZUIKO AUTO-S 50mm F1.8. This lens offers vibrant image rendering and a soft bokeh effect.
