California Bears American Football Helmet - Many Autographs

This is a helmet of the California Golden Bears, the athletic team nickname for the University of California, Berkeley.
In Japanese, it is sometimes abbreviated simply as California Bears.

This is an actual helmet used by a Bears player who was invited to the first Heisei Bowl held in Japan in 1990.
I personally received it directly from the organizers, so it is undoubtedly authentic.
It bears the signatures of the participating members and coaches from that time.
There may also be signatures of players who later became successful.
I am not an expert, so I cannot be sure.

The Heisei Bowl was one of the exchange games/all-star events held in Japan between Japanese university select teams and overseas university teams (or international university teams).
Overseas university teams (like Berkeley/Cal in this case) would visit Japan for games and cultural exchange.
Later, the event changed its name to the Sharp Cup and was held for several years.
