Held in Miyazaki City from Monday, July 25, 1994, to Tuesday, August 2, 1994.
Approximately 250 boys and girls from 26 countries and regions participated.
They were divided into 10 mixed teams for international exchange games.

The World Juvenile Baseball Championship was proposed and realized by Sadaharu Oh, the Home Run King, and Hank Aaron (USA). The aim is to convey the joy of baseball through baseball clinics and international exchange games, while also expanding the circle of friendship beyond borders.

The first tournament was held in Los Angeles in July-August 1990. It has been held every summer except for three years when it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The World Children's Baseball Foundation (WCBF) distributed these caps to media personnel at the Miyazaki tournament. I received this cap at the time when I was working at a media bureau in Miyazaki and covering the tournament and Mr. Oh. The young boys and girls wore light blue caps.

This cap was only worn for a few hours during the coverage. There are no noticeable scuffs, but the color of the care label tag has discolored from white (Photos 7 & 8). It has been stored at home by an amateur for nearly 30 years. Please consider this before making a purchase.

Immediate purchase is welcome.

Please understand that we cannot accept changes to the transaction after purchase.
