I wore them when riding a motorcycle (only as a passenger, not driving), but they've been sitting in my shoe closet for the past few years because the recent heat was too much. I always wore socks when I wore them, and I made sure to dry them out. I also used waterproofing spray at the time, and I don't think there are any major scratches other than the tear on the leather at the opening.
They seem to run large; I wear a 24 or 24.5 in sneakers, but these felt roomy even at this size. Also, they are a bit heavy, about 0.8kg per shoe.
