Olympia Vintage Harmonica, 1930s-1940s?
This is a vintage harmonica made in Germany.
It was purchased from an antique shop.
Research online indicates that similar models are from the 1930s-1940s.
As it is stamped Made in Germany,
I believe it is undoubtedly a pre-war item from before the division of Germany. (It's highly unlikely to be from after reunification.)
The wooden mouthpiece is perhaps unusual?
I tried blowing air through it like a straw.
Sound does come out, but I believe the tuning is off.
There are also some parts that produce strange sounds.
I enjoyed researching its history and displaying it in my room,
so I am selling it to clear out my collection.
There are small spots of rust here and there.
Please check the photos for the condition before purchasing.
